2026 Annual Meeting

This year's Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, October 22nd, at 6:00 p.m., in Council Chambers at Falmouth Town Hall, 271 Falmouth Road. You may attend in-person or online via Zoom.

This year's speaker will be Dr. Patrick Outwin, noted historian and author. His topic is, "Falmouth--Fortune and Misfortune." He is a lively and engaging speaker you won't want to miss. Click on the flyer for more information.

Please join us! This event is free and open to the public. You need not be a member to attend.

FHS Table at the Polls (02 Nov 2026)

After you have voted, stop by our table under the canopy where our volunteers (weather permitting) will be standing by to share stories about the history of Falmouth . If you have questions, your town's squad of history detectives has answers (or knows where to find them!). Items from the bookstore will also be available to purchase.

Monthly Meeting of the FHS Board of Directors

The board will discuss Society business, activities, and plans.

This meeting will be held online via the Zoom Meeting service and application.

Very Merry Falmouth—Merry Mix & Mingle

Join us at this town event for a family-friendly, open air, community party in the American Legion parking lot. There will be popcorn, gourmet hot chocolate, kids activities, good cheer with your neighbors, and more.

Your town historical society will have a table where our volunteers can answer questions about our town's history. We will also have selected merchandise from our bookstore including:

Books about Falmouth
New edition of The Falmouth Cookbook
New Coloring Book
Falmouth-themed sturdy tote bag
Falmouth-themed fleece-lined cap
